Another day, another rap debate. This time, it implies that Fabolous is a better rapper than André 3000, according to Reason.
Dawg Entertainment’s top artist Reason has sparked an intense debate on social media about who is the better rapper between Fabolous and Andre 3000.
On Van Lathan and Rachel Lindsay Higher Education podcast, which aired Friday, Jan. 7 on YouTube, Reason boldly declared that FABO is a better rapper than Three Stacks. “In my opinion, yes, Fabolous is a better rapper. I would like something like this [Verzuz],” he said. “But I feel like if you lined up Fabolous and Andre 3000, I got my money’s worth on Fab. This is how I feel.”
Stunned by Reason’s statement, Lathan replied, “I’m not about to hate Fab, but damn that boy from Atlanta is a freak. Hi Reason, come on. We love Fab. I like Fab. You know very well that Three Stacks is…”
Reason stopped Lathan and explained his position. “That’s the problem,” the rapper said. “I do not know. [Fab] exceeds Wayne. If you can trap Wayne, you can trap Andre 3000. He outplayed Wayne on records.”
“I don’t think if they line up… if they do a dead type record ‘6 Minutes’, like, I’m not saying it’s easy for Fab, but I think if Fab came with the mindset of ‘I want the best verse, I think Fab can top Andre 3000,’ he concluded.
On the same day, Reason reposted the clip to his Twitter account and added, “We need a Fab vs Andre versuz. Verses only! I am fabulous! Someone give me the auxiliary! »
Reason’s tweet generated a flood of comments from rap fans who overwhelmingly believe André 3000 is unbeatable in a rap battle.
“Chill fab but he hasn’t got a verse, in his entire career, that even touches Andre’s most recent verse (“Life of the Party”),” one person wrote.
Another commenter tweeted: “Trash take, Fab not even top 5 in his own state. 3stacks is top 5 in the period.”
However, some people agreed with Reason’s assessment that Fabo is a better lyricist than Three Stacks.
“People just say what they programmed without thinking. Dre doesn’t even really rap, he’s no more cohesive than he is,” the user tweeted. “Fab the best rapper to come out of Brooklyn…I said what I said.”
Who do you have? Let the debates begin.
