Take the pipes with the Carhartt WIP x Converse CONS skate shoes

Carhartt WIP x Converse turns their attention from the basketball court to the half-pipe with their recent collab. They reworked the classic One Star Pro and Fastbreak Pro with workwear materials to make them more durable and stylish and launched them under the Carhartt WIP x Converse Cons skateboard line.

Forget the brown and navy woodland camouflage patterns suitable for duck canvas. The collaboration brings the One Star Pro low top and the Fastbreak Pro mid top in white leather and nubuck voile upper. Contrasting crisp shades of white are stark black for the laces that run across the leather-lined suede tongue. The inner lining is also covered with a black leather upholstery.

Meanwhile, the midsoles are in gloss black. The new silhouette is completed with the light brown bottoms and rubber toe caps that feature on the toe pull and outsoles. These are grippy rubber soles that would be perfect for boarding. Unlike the classic Fastbreak Pro, the cream-colored suede and leather covers only the forefoot and not the heel area.

The Carhartt WIP x Converse CONS skate shoes also keep the branding subtle with the cutout and printed accents on the top and side heels. The Carhartt logo is seamlessly integrated with the CONS logo on the tongue.

When it comes to comfort, the Wach Carhartt WIP x Converse CONS Skate Shoes use the same cushioning found in the Converse CX silhouette, which guarantees comfort. Plus, they come in a thicker, cushioned construction to absorb shock, which is great when kicking those kickflips. These limited-edition shoes will drop March 31 on the Converse website.
